This weekend we got away for the weekend- the first time since Owen's been born! We went to the Greenbrier in West Virginia for some fun, relaxation and pampering.
There was golf, the spa and some hiking and running. We lucked out with good weather!
We toured the bunker- built under this hill and wing of the hotel- that was the secret fall-out shelter for the US Congress from the 1950's to 1992. Fascinating!
We enjoyed a couple of relaxing nights.
Good food and drinks (without interruption).
And some time in the casino too. Fun times!
It was so nice to get away, but it was also nice to come back. As Owen said on the drive home, "I'm so glad our family is all together again!"
A giant THANK YOU to Grandma and Grandpa for such taking excellent care of Owen and Grace, they had a blast!
