Pen pals

Last fall we got connected with a local initiative called Soul 2 Sole that connects area kids with kids in Uganda to establish friendships and provide a need- shoes! It's a neat idea and we have enjoyed being a part of it. Last fall, Owen and Grace each sent "letters" to their pen pals and on Sunday we went to pick up their letters back. It was very exciting! Owen has many things he wants to include in his next letter back to Pius, his "friend who lives far away". Here's a pic someone snapped at the event!
