We played all sports, played an entire drum concert that over three days must have been at least 3 hours long (eventually the drums got lost) went on field trips to pet stores, toy stores, McDonalds, the post office, the carpet store where Owen picked out some beautiful carpets, played on the playground after surpring Gpa at his school. We ran home in a small shower, stomped our boots in the puddles.
Owen chased Bailey and Ginger who had to run for their lives part of the time and retreated to their crates for a rest. Owen learned that dogs are sneaky and steal toys and chew them. We read many books. Gma made a big mistake and read "5 little monkey jumping on the bed" with puppet monkeys before Owen took a nap. I guess the part about "The doctor said, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed"was missed because I heard a thump about ten minutes later and the sixth monkey had jumped off the bed. Owen was fine. Gma was a bit shaken.
A great time. I wouldn't have traded this time for anything. Maybe just a little more sleep.
