Shopping with Grace has become a little slower now that she has discovered shoes! Within seconds of spotting them, her own shoes are off and she's trying them on.   

End of the school year

Owen's preschool class celebrated their last day with a day of water fun. The kids had a blast, especially spraying each other- and innocent bystanders- with water!  

 Grace was more interested in the bubbles, once she figured them out.

Owen had a wonderful year and we are so grateful for his two fantastic teachers.

Strawberries!

Last weekend we joined our neighbors for some strawberry picking! We had a great time as we picked (and ate) our way through the rows of strawberries.

We brought home a huge haul and have since been busy trying some new and old favorite ways to eat them. So far we've had strawberry pie, bread, salads, smoothies, strawberries dipped in chocolate, with cool whip and my personal favorite, strawberry margaritas! Any other suggestions??

Mother's Day preschool tea

 As Owen said, "Isn't this the best day?!" It was.

Tea time

This week we had celebrated Mother's Day with Gram with some afternoon tea and bid "bon voyage" to Aunt Elyse as she leaves for a summer in Rome.
