First movie

This weekend, we took Owen to see Cars 2. It was his first trip to the movie theater and he loved it!

He insisted on sitting on the edge of his seat because "the chair spills me". It was true, he is still too light to hold that seat down!

He was fascinated with everything on the screen- and the snacks.

I'm not sure if he enjoyed the movie or the experience more, but it was a super fun day!

And a big thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for taking care of Grace during our outing. We loved having some special one-on-one time with our little guy!

This weekend we dropped Owen and Grace off for an overnight with Grandma and Grandpa, and came home with Grace and... Spiderman!!

Thanks to Grandma for this great find! We love it- especially the built-in muscles.

Queen of the Chair

Round 1 of sibling rivalry- Owen's chair. Despite Gracie having her own, she wants big brother's!

Jersey Shore weekend

We spent the long weekend on the Jersey Shore and the beach was a big hit!

Owen literally ran in circles through the water, spun til he was dizzy and rolled around in the sand.

Grace was happy to sit on a blanket under the umbrella and snack.

She was most interested in watching the sea gulls,

and admiring her toes.

She was definitely NOT a fan of the water or the sand. She did this "legs up" move every time we tried to get her close.

Daddy got in some fishing time and caught some nice fish and this shark right off the beach. Hmm...

The boardwalk was quite an experience, the best part being the pizza

and the arcade. Score!

Owen said his favorite part of the trip was playing putt-putt golf with Daddy and Uncle Mike.

(Perhaps Grace's least favorite...)

We all enjoyed the beach get away and spending some quality time with Aunt Elyse, Aunt Abbie and Uncle Mike!!
