Hip progress

This week Grace had a follow-up appointment for her hips and good news- she is harness=free for the daytime! She is making good progress and now wears it only at night for a few more weeks.

We are so happy she can now stretch, kick and wear those cute- and cool- summer outfits (especially in this heat)... And so is she!

A special day

This weekend Grace was baptized into the Catholic Church. She was baptized by Father Jim, who also married us and baptized Owen.

Grace is excited to have Uncle Mike and Aunt Abbie as her godparents. She especially appreciated when Father Jim reminded all godparents of their important new role in providing guidance for their godchild's journey of faith- and gifts for birthdays and Christmas. ;)

2 months

This week Grace turned 2 months! She is growing well, weighing in at 10 lbs 14 oz, and is growing more alert and observant everyday. We love her new coos, as does Owen who tries to respond in her "language". Has it really been two months already?!

First fish!

Owen's first fishing adventure started out with some prep-- finding worms!

All set to go, Owen and Daddy pick a spot and throw out their lines.

Owen quickly cast and reeled his line in.. over and over again.

And he got one!

Owen was THRILLED to catch his first fish!

He then told the fish to "go home" and threw him back in the water.

Daddy has a new fishing buddy!

Hip style

We got Gracie some 'baby legs' to wear so she can stay cool and still protect her legs from those itchy straps. Hip therapy never looked so sweet! ;)

O Tractor

Grandma and Grandpa brought Owen his very own tractor and he couldn't be more excited!

He had a busy morning loading it up with dirt, sticks and grass..

and even his baby sister.

But he wasn't too busy to take some breaks!
