Little "Elf"

Lately Owen has made it his mission to get into the pantry and find goodies. We try to keep up with his growing arms and legs (aka longer reach), but sometimes he scores some crackers, raisins, goldfish, or better. This fine moment was captured by Daddy, who yes, allowed this to continue as he got out the camera to take this picture.

We soon after learned the answer to Buddy the Elf's burning question-

"Is there sugar in syrup???"

Big Brother in Training

Owen has been getting in some practice for his upcoming role as Big Brother by taking his baby sister doll for some turns around the playroom. It's so much fun!

However, the good time always ends with "someone" getting chucked out of the car. Hint, it's never Owen.

Mr. Fix-it

In an effort to deter Owen from wanting to watch a video, I told him the disc was broken. Unfazed, he grabbed the DVD, said "I fis it" and walked over to his workbench. He returned a few moments later and proudly handed me the disc with a, "watch it? I fis it." Impressed with his resourcefulness, I had him "fis" it again to capture the moment, then he loaded it up and settled down to watch Charlotte's Web. Well, 15 minutes of it until he was onto something else.

The Clements and 2010 got off to a rocky start with a week of stomach flus, colds, ear infections, and a return of the dreaded pregnancy rash pupps. Plus a week's worth of cabin fever. It was a rough introduction..

We're on the mend now and looking forward to a wonderful new year ahead.. and also hoping we've already filled our puke quota for the year. Cheers!
