Water break!

During a unseasonably hot day this week, Owen broke out his water table for a test-run. He definitely can't wait for summer and water fun!

We want to express our upmost thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for opening their home to us for the past 9 1/2 months. Owen has grown up so much and marked many milestones during our stay...

And yes, he was a good guest and helped chip in!

Owen went on a walk with Grandma, Grandpa and Brody and soon realized there was another boy with them too... or was there?

Owen was fascinated to discover his shadow and kept trying to figure out who/what it was, and why it kept following him!

Moving week!

At long last, we are finally moving into our own place! We started moving this weekend and will continue all week. Owen is very excited with all the new things to get into.. though so far his favorite has been the moving truck.

An extra special THANK YOU to our family and friends who have helped us move, watch Owen, and kept us company. You are the B-E-S-T!!

The Easter Bunny brought Owen his very own Wiggles Big Red Car. He couldn't be happier!

Now Owen can listen to his very favorite song of all time- Toot Toot, Chugga Chugga, Big Red Car- over and over and OVER again!!

The Greatest Show on Earth

The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus is in town and we joined the Jenkins family and our friend Tara to check it out.

Owen was fascinated and paid careful attention to the whole show.

We agreed that the horses and the motorcycles were the best part.

Though Owen made sure to show his support for ALL the performers!

Fwowers?

Today Owen had fun picking dandelions, or "fwowers".

Whoa!

After several minutes spent carefully collecting them, he ultimately decided they belong on the ground. He must know they're really not "fwowers" after all!

Spring is here!

Despite some dreary weather, this week we've seen some signs of spring! Owen discovered the fun of "wawa" in puddles...

and the hose!

After which, Owen and Brody dried off in the warm sun.

We also checked out the beautiful cherry blossoms in DC with Gram.
