A great long weekend

We enjoyed a restful and fun-filled long weekend kicking off the holiday season with family and friends. Uncle Chris was still in town from Hawaii and gave Owen his first guitar lesson.

Miss Katie was in town from NYC and joined us for brunch..

where Mommy's god-son Sawyer gave Owen tips for pie eating... because he is the cutest champ!

We joined the Alexanders for the annual Christmas tree lighting at Reston Town Center.

Owen and Reed were most impressed by the lights. Santa who??

It was a cold but fun night!

We tried to burn a few calories and broke out Owen's wagon for some walks around the neighborhood.

A little under the weather this week, Owen takes a break to snuggle up and watch some Blue's Clues.

Mike and Abbie are married!!

Today they got married in a beautiful ceremony at St Joseph's church. Owen dressed up for the big day.

After the ceremony, we swung by the Capitol for some scenic wedding pictures.

Boy, was it cold out there!!

Then we headed over to the Top of the Town to celebrate. It was a fabulous reception with amazing views of DC, which Owen checked out with some pals and cousins.

We enjoyed seeing all the family who joined us for this special day.

And Owen officially welcomed his new aunt to the family. Yay!

We couldn't be happier for the new Mr & Mrs Smith! It was a wonderful day and we had a great time.

Despite Grandma and Grandpa giving Owen two full rooms, he is always looking to expand his domain! He pulls open gates, scoots under chairs, and has figured out how to move the room divider. He thinks he's sneaky, but we caught him in action!!

It's Owen's first Halloween!!

Owen joined his buds Ben and Reed for his first time trick-or-treating. A skunk, a chicken and a monkey... what a cute little trio!

We loaded them up and set out to get some sweets.
