Today we spent some time with Uncle Mike. We had lots of fun playing, squirrel watching, and eating graham crackers.

We also made quite a mess. Mommy helped Owen clean up all his crumbs..

which wasn't nearly as fun.

We held onto the baby bath as long as we could, but we finally graduated Owen to the big boy bath. He is a huge fan! All that space to crawl, play and splash... so fun!

We still can't believe how quickly our cuddly rolling baby turned into an active little boy! In just a few short weeks he has learned to crawl and stand...

and cruise along the furniture.

Needless to say, he is keeping us on our toes!!

Go Uncle Chris!

Today we went to cheer on Uncle Chris at the Reston Triathlon. We were there to see him finish after he biked and ran some 30 miles through the hills of Reston.

Boy, were we glad to be watching with our bagels... that is hard work! Congratulations Uncle Chris!!

Happy Labor Day!

We took advantage of the beautiful weather today and took Owen hiking in Shenandoah National Park. As we hiked up and down a mountain, he enjoyed the sights from the best seat in the park.
